did diva ever get the update the manual mentions about controlling gain into the filters (either with a volume added to the few osc models that lack it or an "input gain" added to the filters?)

No. Where in the manual is that mentioned? I've wanted that feature in diva for a long time. I hope there are still plans to implement that at some point.MitchK1989 wrote:did diva ever get the update the manual mentions about controlling gain into the filters (either with a volume added to the few osc models that lack it or an "input gain" added to the filters?)

"Note: The output levels of oscillators can have a significant effect on the tonal quality of the filters.
The models that don’t allow complete control over volume might get that in future versions – or the
filters will include input gain controls (yet to be decided)."
It's why I haven't bought diva yet.

I think I'd actually go the "volume only on the oscillators that currently lack it" route - it seems kind of redundant to have individual volume control on oscillators in a few of the models and then an input gain on every filter as well - at that point your volume basically is the result of two knobs in series which just makes gain staging a little harder...
Then again, it would let you change overall volume into the filter without messing with your balance between oscs (which is a trick the minimoog can't do...)

Input gain into filters FTW.

Might it be good idea to have drive together with filter level?

I dunno. I just know it needs something. The BITE models in particular are so sensitive to input gain, and then some of the osc models don't give me any way to control that...

Hive:
Is there a way to turn off the last note priority in non-legato mono mode? Maybe I just don't see it
In legato mono mode amp and filter velocity don't seem to work.
For such a huge interface I find the labels kind of small and hard to read.
The Cutoff knobs should look different from the others, maybe bigger or whatever.
It know it is an architecture thing, the sub oscs' pan is tied to the main oscs' pan, unlike on Sylenth. With certain settings one can hear the difference, in a negative way...

HIVE: add global lock option to ARP & SEQ (and even to the EFFECTS, why not?) so the whole ARP+SEQ settings (and EFFECTS configuration possibly, ordering included) are kept while browsing for other presets. It is expected that the modulations to these sections will change while browsing presets.
Thank you!
Thank you!

No, Hive's mono and legato modes don't have a priority setting.fluffy_little_something wrote:Hive: Is there a way to turn off the last note priority in non-legato mono mode?
Legato means no retriggering between consecutive notes - so no new velocities. BTW what did you mean by "filter velocity"?In legato mono mode amp and filter velocity don't seem to work.

This has probably been mentioned before but I'd like to see more than one octave available to transpose in Zebras arpeggiator, and also double click to add MSEG node instead of button press + click (I use both Mac and PC and memory fails me constantly....)

Not sure have I supposed it's already but Diva would really benefit from 4 osc mono/poly like mode. There are alot of tricks that could be implemented with it's paraphony and arp with osc rotation.
Murderous duck!
