I just read in the musings that the Garritan Libraries and Aria Engine are installable and the licensing works. Is anybody out there using it yet and if so what are the impressions?

We just got done testing all the Aria stuff on the latest Receptors, and it runs fine. We haven't tried it on a Receptor 2, but we'll see if it works with the 2.0.1 upgrade… hopefully we can get around to trying that.

There is a little trick: you drag the installer file over into Drop Installers here and then install the software. It will then unpack all the samples and move them into the appropriate folder. After everything is in place, you have a .png file which is a little authorization card that they provide. You need to copy that over into the folder that you installed the plugin into, and then when you go to use it, you have to use the OPEN menu to find that file to authorize the software. Usually on a computer you just drag that little card to the software, but since we don't have a desktop, you simply open up the file from inside the plugin and it will authorize.

Nice sounding stuff for sure.

I have purchased and downloaded the windows version of this and pretty much followed what you describe. I unzipped the download because it didn't seem like it was seeing it when I tried to install it. The Aria portion installed but it could not find the samples. According to Garritan's FAQ the error is because the folder was not inside the same directory which I get on normal computer. If I put that folder in Drop Installers here I first get a reading on the install button (mixer mode setup window ) of 5,000 plus files to install. Clicking the button sends all of the samples loose into the failed folder. I have contacted Garritan and have not gotten any responses yet. Any help with what I may have messed up on would be appreciated.
