right then, thanks for all your feedback so far........

have uploaded the version 2 mix with most of the drums re-done to be a lot less mushy. the whole mix is a lot clearer round the midrange i think now.

i have also swopped in some sounds from my new absynth.

check it out here

cheers,

steve.

thanks and i agree, i've redone the mix completely and have switch some of the drums sounds and reverb. see what you think now.

yeah i prefer the new mix, however, about the drums...

they have been nicely molten into the flow, which is cool. but i miss the powerful layer they were before.

maybe i should put them back in in a couple of places ? it was a toss up between "in yer face" mushiness and the new mix, but i guess if i spent some more time i could get the big sound without the loss of clarity.

cheers for listening to the update, glad you like the new mix.

Really nice tune. The beginning build-up takes longer than I'd like though, but I'm an impatient bastard. I guess I can only take slow build-ups if the track itself is ambient or new age anyway. For stuff with a beat, I keep thinking, "Bring on the goodies already!"

maybe you can give me some pointers as to where to cut it down, it's only supposed to be four minutes long for the cd

thanks for the comments guys,

steve.

link has been changed to another updated mix, almost the same this one, just a few levels changed here and there.

steve.
