Thanks Hans, but it doesn't say which instruments, and that's what I'm interested to know.Hans25 wrote:if you go to UVI's website and look at the "World Traditions Presets List" on page 4 and below there is a list stating how many loops and how many instrument from each etnic group:pekadan wrote:I can't seem to find info anywhere which instruments are included as multi-sampled presets (not loops or phrases). I wonder if these are worth the price alone? (I'm not much into loops).
Fleer, did you by any chance buy it and try it out already?

Yes. That's what I thought too. But for that price it's not a surprise. If you want a good ethnic library there is RA from East West. But that's another price category - http://www.soundsonline-europe.com/RaFleer wrote:For me it was. Too many loops I'm afraid.Hans25 wrote:You welcome. you mean you can buy the software (full price - not the bargain) and use in your daw even if you don't bought the hardware controller ? I always thought hardware was a necessity.. Good surprise if i was wrong !jeffb01 wrote:totally. That's how I mostly use it. You can't buy it without buying hardware, though (the bargain is for upgrading v1 to v2... It really has it all (sequencer, sampler, sample organizer, drum synth, groove box, etc)...Hewitt Huntwork wrote:Saw the bargain post about Maschine 2.3. I've always wondered... can one use the software as a VST without the hardware? Love the functionality, but don't necessarily need another controller.
Gypsy is ethnic. The others are not. Don't you like their Play engine?Fleer wrote:True. But I still have to get more comfortable with the EW libraries I have and love, such as Fab Four, Gypsy and Ghostwriter
Not really ethnic, though.
