Hi there. I have all of the U-he synths. Only Hive will remember the GUI view size and skin I select. I select these in the drop down menu and click on make default but when I re-open the synths (other than Hive) I get the factory default.

How can I get these synths to remember the GUI size and skin I select? I am on a Mac running Yosemite and have ensure that the right permissions are set on the obvious folders. let me know what I can do/try if you know.

thanks!

Thats a significant oversight. I'd like to see state saving across all synths consistently and sooner rather than later if possible.

Hive and Presswerk now have the Preferences panel, which does save the GUI size as default. Default skin can already be saved and does recall correctly.

HI ED, I think the last beta had issues with that in Zebra2....you may be on a more recent one though that has it fixed.

It's not an oversight, as the most recent synth Hive is simply the first to have the new abilities, it's planned that it will be added to the others too.

Yep, I know. The most recent version has issues with it, still. Anxiously awaiting for it to be fixed, because I can't use Redux skin without Zebra crashing upon closing the GUI...

What DAW are you using? In Logic I saved the Synth with the correct default view and settings as a default Logic preset and it works just fine. In case you're using Logic this would be a work around to try for you.

That method works in Cubendo too, so I didn't know it wasn;t recalling the correct skin till I saw it online here.
