Greetings, \m/

This weeks newsletter listed Cakewalks product, Rapture Pro, seems like a cool idea...
combining sampling and synthesis...

Here's the "out there"part...This made me wonder if it would be possible for a similar U-he(hint ) innovation
to take advantage of Apple/Logic's massive amount of built in samples, so they they wouldn't have to work on shipping a sample library...

Anyway, just thinking a U-he sampler/synth would be uber rad!

(loving Hive in my own novice way, btw)

Thanks

So what about more than 50% of the world which doesn't use Logic? :D

I know it's a bit selfish, lol, but the thought being a product that could hijack whatever-hosts samples...

U-he rules

I'm certainly not trying to imply infringing on copy-writes, mainly that it seems, U-he has the mental muscle to come up with the most radical sampler/synth!

Yeah, it's a pretty cool idea. I buried it after I explained it to a mate and he said "no one will ever need this".

It's still around as an idea though. Its DNA will certainly manifest itself one way or another.

That software/Youtube example you were mentioning back then was AudioGL, by the way. ;)

Seems like a project at a standstill now, though.
