Looping EG Help

I have been working with the Loop function in Zebra 2 HZ Envelope and finally have figured out how Peter Townsend did Baba O'Riley.
My problem is the lowest note E over powers the upper notes, and EQ is not an option.
Have tried external plug ins, from Parametric to Dynamic EQ. No Joy.
Is there a trick in HZ that might help lower the volume of that note while not affecting the upper notes..?
I included the preset. Sendy's Oscillators are awesome and so tweakable for every sound imaginable.
But this preset sounds like dog crap unless you know the tune and how to use Loopin EGs of yore.
Just hold the E as your lowest note below or above middle C depending on your controllers layout. Then roll with upper fingers, roll the notes like your were playing a Hammond B3.
Often sustaining a root (lowest note) or lead tone (highest note) then another for a moving melody.
The best results are from holding the low E, root, then add the 5th and sustain that note and do a grace note from the augmented 7th to the E, 1 octave above the Root.
Thanks for any help, I am almost home with this one.
Thought it was MSEGs and LFOs until I messed with the Loop EG and stumbled successfully in the right direction.

I'm not in a position to download/listen to the patch right now, but...
Just a thought...
I 'discovered' when I did my patch for Jeff Beck's "Star Cycle" (included my patch with the arpeggiator pattern here, also, in a thread from last Dec-Jan or so), that the arpeggiator has velocity (per note pitch in the sequence) in addition to duration params.
Might creating/altering/augmenting with the arpeggiator (scaling velocity for that particular pitch) be an option?

I'll check out the patch in the future, thank you. Would automating volume in your DAW work?

Arpeggiator was an option before I found how the EG retrigger is what creates the unique sound. So having functions of the Arpegg. for Looping EG options would be very unique and most welcome.
Zebras' Compressor actually helps in the creation of the sound as well.
It chops it up more, so maybe I will dl'd Presswork and check it out.
A Multiband Compressor just might isolate the note (root) in question.
Since I use Bidule and lots of hardware a DAW might work for indoor use, but I have to get this for real time work first.
Thanks for the replies.
Maybe I'll fall in the toilet and come out smelling like a Rose the way I fell into the Looping EG by accident.
Cheerz

I believe this is a live rig setup, that he's trying to keep the low E from overpowering the upper notes, Aaron.
EDIT: Oops - This was submitted, just as you clarified that you were, in fact, trying to get this happening live.

Try reducing the volume of OSC1 in the low octave - like this....

There are two ways I can think of to do this. The first is to adjust the Key -> Gain parameter for OSC1:

The second is to use a MMap to control overall lane volume. Setup the modulation like in the picture below, then pull down the notes you want to soften in the MMap. You can find the offending notes by just hitting the notes on the keyboard and the yellow line will highlight the note. You will need to use the zoom feature [+] of the MMap to get just one of those 128 lines:

Both methods have their strengths, choose whichever one you prefer.

Awesome.
Glad yuze guys that really know Zebras' unique extra's stepped in.
I actually boosted the upper 2 bands of the EQ and fixed the volume issue but it altered the sound so much I decided to just live with it.
But now that I nailed the notes Townsend used and got that crazy retriggered rhythm I can try these tricks mentioned.
I have Looping EGs in Modular IV as well as Solaris hardware but they aren't as easy to program as Zebras' EGs.
I can just fine tune the tempo instead of getting all scientific with each notes level and duration as the other Looping EGs I have implement.
I'll report back with any good results if I get them.
If you don't hear from me again on this I will let the thread get buried and just do a half assed version of it. But I work with real picky folks.
They don't allow automations, so all while I am doing the upper Looped EG licks I am expected to play the Piano part as well.
Accepting the challenge I first just used Octaves but that wasn't good enough for these guys, they could hear the chords and lower octaves in the original recording.
So I took 4 zones from the Physis K4 and stacked them as a triad where 3 other zones have the 3rd, 5th and high Octave and now use a single finger to play the entire Piano part on PianoTeq 5 Pro.
It's such challenges that keep my interests piqued.
Thanks Again Mates.....

Wow that was fast.
It's perfect now and I will still explore the other options mentioned as there will surely
be a time where learning those more thoroughly will be necessary.
Osc Gain and Velocity immediately helped me fine tune the perceived decibel levels.
Thanks so much guys.

Here's the finished Preset.
Thanks to everyone here, and also the Sendy guy for those awesome Oscillators.

Thanks for the preset!
BTW, I believe "the Sendy guy" is a Sendy girl.

I think this is pretty close but I need to know if messing with Velocity Scaling in the EG drop down window can have an affect on the tempo of the Loop on the higher notes.
This is a live recording as it's what I do, so I am struggling with the left hand Piano part as my ear is telling me the timing is slightly modulating somewhere.
I had a click track in my ear from '84 until 1999 so I am pretty sensitive to offsets in timing.
Here's a recording. Even if I am wrong can anyone point out which parameters of the EG other than Loop affect timing...?
Thanks. Oh and the preset there in case someone wants to add a fix.
Much appreciated.
