Love it :hyper:

Congrats on the release! I already made a song with it and am pretty excited.

I really love how the sequencer/arp is set up and how easy it is to modulate stuff with my breath controller...just wish I had an expression pedal, maybe I should save up for that next, LOL. Some really great factory presets, and pretty easy sound design for a n00b like me who is still going thru Syntorial to figure out sound design.

Love you guys and wish you all the best of success with this synth!

The most reliable way to get better at a synth is by your own experimentation. Go through the factory patches and reverse-engineer them. Load up two instances and try to re-create the patch without peeking too much. The quicker and more accurate, the higher-score you give yourself ^^.

All the while, note all the little things you notice. There's all sorts of tricks, especially with the mod-matrix, that you'll forget if you don't write it down. There are so many presets by a lot of really great synth programmers. You're bound to always learn something new!

Hive's ease of use truly shines through. The ability to save, copy and paste osc/filter/envelope parameters makes sound-design SO easy. I can't believe I haven't seen this in a synth yet.

Of course, you can also 'forward engineer'. Load up a patch from another synth you have and try to re-create it within Hive. The sound will naturally be different, but it can help learn your way around Hive better. That's what I did yesterday trying to re-create some Spire patches. Spire presently has more features, but Hive's raw sound completely blows Spire away.

Above all, practice and don't be afraid to experiment ^^.

Bitwig presets, huh? How are those different from regular ones? I'm using Bitwig as my DAW so I'll check them out, thank you.

those are Hive presets saved in the Bitwig device with creator and category etc, wich makes it possible to access them via the device and with the upcoming browser in 1.2

not actualy new sounds.

Congrats on this release!

Def looking forward to more skins as I prefer default over honeycomb. I want to see some slime green where the blue is in default lol.

Anyways, love how lightweight this synth is. Haven't had a crash from it either.

Is it free for Linux? Sorry, I don't know anything about u-he policy on this. The FAQ on your site says nothing about this...

It isn't a frequently asked question yet, but the Linux version takes the same serial number as the Mac/PC versions (i.e. it's not free)

Just bought (on the last day of beta sales) this awesome synth.
I'm already using it a lot with my progressive metal band and even with the pop-rock one!
I HAD TO give you my hundred (+VAT) Bucks!

Now the problem is with the u-he.com website, i'm having problems in loading the page on Safari on my Mac. Am I the only one having this kind of issue?
Even with the user agent set to Firefox or Chrome it's impossible to reach the site these days.

I need to download my copy of Hive version 1.0!

Grats on the release, guys! Using many instances of Hive in my latest track.
