Edit: Looks like it's been fixed. Bought! :)
+1 Seems to be fixed

After logging into backstage, I get an offer for 30% off Redux, at checkout the price is reduced to €40

Unfortunately I don't have the funds to buy it at this time, but hope this offer is not time limited.

Ok I'm digging into it and quite like it. But does anyone know how to keep the sample and effects windows from changing every time a new sample is triggered?
Edit: never mind, just turn off auto select samples, above the left sample window.
A very solid sampler, deep in different ways. More research needed. I'm hexadecimal-phobic but the tracker patterns aren't necessary; they're there if thats your bag though. I might have to get it...

..just played with the demo and lost myself in space and time jamming with it. redux seems very fun and inspiring. i love that you can lock phrases into key/scale. building your own instruments with the building blocks (modulators/fx) is pretty neat as well.

The Phrase Editor looks pretty unique, does any other sampler/sampling software come with such a function?

I'll be picking this up Payday night ...

I've been demoing this and i love the workflow! It's so fast!

Can't wait for the improved effects to make it to Renoise 3.1, too. Also love the interface of Redux.

I guess you can do similar stuf with reViSiT

reVisit is since two years in beta. The dev had promised much back then but the development is stopped. You can have the sluggish copy i bought since i never got really into it. All i remember are some problems within Cubase but don't ask me what. :)

Anyway, it's a tracker in plugin format nothing special. Imo since Renoise pretty useless (64bit, Rewire etc.)
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Instant buy!
I've been using Renoise on and off as a change of pace for a while but found the tracker interface a bit too tricksy to replace my Reaper based workflow. This is a very neat solution that places the heart of Renoise right into a more familiar sequencing environment. Best of both worlds. :D

Well, ReViSiT does midi out, something Redux doesn't. Redux is the sampler from renoise as a plugin, revisit is really a tracker as plugin. I wouldn't say it's useless since renoise, because renoise still is a pain to record playin audio tracks with. With Revisit you can have the tracker for tracking beats played by other instruments and use a regular DAW for 'pure' audio. You could rewire Renoise too, of course, but that's not really an argument against the other.

That said, yeah, no new releases since 2013 and it's still 32bit (works well jbridged though). I hope to see some development, because I like the concept and it has some pretty nifty features.

Have they said anything about adding more free content?

Downloading the demo, it comes with something like 93 xrni patches, not very much.

Roll your own of course, but a bit more included would not be bad either.

BTW, the demo also comes with 53 multi sampled sfz patches, so anybody who want some free fodder for shortcircuit, sfzorsando (etc) will also find use in the content

I'll be staying in Renoise but im glad they finally got it released.

There are three more packs in the Backstage area, but those are for registered users only.

There're quite a few user-created instruments in XRNI format available for download: http://forum.renoise.com/index.php/file ... struments/

Too bad there is no MIDI out. ( It now just outputs the input :( )
You are limited to the samples/xrni's inside Redux now.
(That or VSTi hosting but rather have MIDI out)

A joy to work/play with but holding off buying it for now.
