Hi all, I've been wondering how come the Maschine4Bitwig script doesn't work for me.
The scripting console gives me this:

Can't find method com.bitwig.flt.control_surface.intention.sections.MidiOutPort.sendMidi(number,number,null). (MidiOutput.js#13)

I read it as there's something going on on line 13 in the MidiOutput.js file, but I really can't see what that should be. Has anyone else done themselves some experience with this script?

I'm using a Maschine MK1 just to be clear

By the way I forgot to mention that the virtual driver is not accesible through Bitwig, but I've been assuming this was normalt since I haven't found any settings that would've deactivated it..

Hi,

What version of Bitwig are you using? Getting that error means that the port isn't open.

This definitely explains your error.

Are you sure your drivers are up to date? You are the first user that has run into this problem.

https://github.com/teotigraphix/Maschine4Bitwig <- this is the correct place to download, right? By clicking "Download zip" at the bottom right?

When i add it in bitwig the "?" doesn't lit up where the description on how the scrips works usually are. Is there a description somewhere?
I loaded the "MaschineMK14Bitwig.ncm" into the controller editor, was it the right one?

Since a Maschine thread is once again on the first page, I figure I'll ask...

Is NI still being a PITA? I'm using your script now, but I know you've said you're not done with it and I was just wondering if there was any update.

Script works well here for what I use it for though, so thanks!

Yup, I have my Maschine Studio sitting right in front of me everyday when I am programming for my other "work" and it still works like crap in Bitiwig.

So, what I gather is that not very many people use my script and use Windows, if they did, they would be bitching just like me. But, since there is no resolution, I can't really care as my my dev computer is Windows.

Sorry man and everybody else that heard me say I would get back into this in April. If I can't use my Studio in Bitwig on Windows without the lights messing up, there is no reason I am going to spend massive hours like I did getting something to work that doesn't work for me.

Sell the Maschine Studio and get an MPC Renaissance (which i happen to own). Maybe you could do wonders with it!
While im just joking here, it would be interesting if you could at least play with the thought.

HAHA I didn't say I don't use Maschine! I love the Maschine Studio, as a plugin(and Maschine 2.x) it works just fine.

But using the Controller API and Bitwig, the light messages are all screwed up and have been since the beginning on Windows.

I also own MASCHINE (Mikro) but I have to admit that my AKAI mini is much more useful in Bitwig.
