I'm experiencing some strange GUI-problems in Cubase Elements 8 version 8.0.20 (latest). I'm using a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop with Screen resolution 2560 x 1440. OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

After adding any Air Instrument (all latests versions) to a project and then hiding the instrument (by pressing the yellow icon at the left) when clicking the yellow icon to make the instrument visible something happens with the resolution and text in Cubase.

As you can see below the main top bar suddenly lowers it's resolution and therefore becomes larger in size not fitting to the screen. Furthermore the text in the Cubase drop down menus doesn't fit as shown in the screen capture below. Furthermore Air Instruments text under knobs/sliders is too large to fit the fields and in general the GUI sizes of the instruments are very small.

If I have already added other instruments from other brands in a project and then add a plugin from Air and repeat the above scenario the small plugin GUI size will also affect the other plugins from other brands. Discovery Pro for example has different GUI sizes to choose from but it will change to be as small as the Air plugin if the Air plugin is hidden and then made visible again.

Can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Ok this sucks. Apparently Air is aware of this problem and they haven't done anything about it else but stating, that their plugins were not made to work on 4K UHD screen. Are they f****** kiddin us? Air plugins can't handle high resolution screens and enlarged text. Ehhh??? Welcome to 2015. My new laptop has the screen resolution 2560x1440 and can't use Air plugins because of this.

This issue was first reported almost a year ago and they apparently haven't done anything about it. That's just unacceptable.
