why does tracktion always have to render my audio clips everytime i edit? no other daw i use does this. it seems every time i open an edit that has about 6- 8 tracks the program starts to render the tracks, then crashes. any ideas why this could be happening?

If the clips are being rendered, its probably because you have 'auto tempo' turned on - so the clips are synchronized with the edit tempo

Just send your Tracktion log file to our support link - the floating 'help' button on the main website - please zip the file first

To get the log file, launch tracktion and go to 'help' - that will allow us to see exactly what is causing your crash and advise how to remedy
