I was attempting to make a 6 band (using the multiband setup up top) X 4 band (using crossover modules in each of the 6 band matrixes) to make a 24 band effect (yes, really). I noticed if you alt drag the crossover frequencies in the crossover modules, it will break the bands up top.

Repro steps:

-open MXXX
-right click bands up top, select 'default 6 band'
-select first band
-in the module matrix down the bottom, right click
-add crossover
-alt-drag the cross over frequency in the newly created crossover
-notice weird behavior in the 6 bands up top

Hole crap! :D Ok, that's interesting!
Btw. just for you to know, you'll need to use linear-phase crossovers (not the main one), because otherwise there will be phase shifting problems. Not a biggie for creative stuff, but for mixing/mastering it would be bad...

Ahh, good to know. I did end up making a kind of interesting sounding 24 band limiter, that could be useful for creative extremes. Also made an fairly decent doppler by chaining together a whole bunch of vibratos and a tremolo all synced to the same rate... I wish I had more free time to devote to making MXXX presets because what you've made is pretty amazing and it's going to take a looong time to get the most out of it.
