Hi jabe

Is there a link or do you need a subscription?

It is time to come together in the middle of the road.

Hi theoldguy

Sorry, I forget it might not be so easily available in some places. No link to the articles, I'm afraid.

This is the magazine's site: http://www.musicradar.com/computermusic#null

The new edition isn't mentioned on the site yet. Some back issues are available in print and various digital formats. The digital back issues seem to allow the downloading of the software/samples/videos/etc that would have been on the DVD that comes with the mag. There is a selection of of plug-ins, effects and instruments, on each DVD. The selection gradually changes over time.

Yeah it seems to be a little known fact that you get the whole bundle of plugins with every issue. I got one issue and found quite a few plugins that are regular parts of my mixes. The way it works I think you could even do the digital free trial and still get the plugs. Their feature articles are decent too. I might use my free trial on this issue for the side chain article.

Do you know which plugins are new with this issue?

The featured one is SunRuysCM from audioD3CK, described as an "advanced mixing and mastering compressor".

In the plug-in collections:
Cableguys Curve CM (listed under Hybrid Synths) is marked as "V2.5 Update".

The following are marked as "Now 64-bit": Synapse Audio Dune CM, u-he Zebra CM, Loomer Cumulus, LinPlug Alpha CM, and (effects:) DDMF CM EQ Pack, Vengeance Sound Philta CM, LiquidSonics Reverberate CM.

Didn't they discover the colour editor? What exactly means 'looking more contemporary'?

Yes, that works. I did that a few months ago.
