I've had that problem a lot when making my synths in SE 1.1. Suddenly the mono switch is global and doesn't save with the patch. I always thought it was my fault but I'm not sure anymore. It could be he had the same problem. Usually I think the default setting for everything is to save settings with patches. If the developer is reading, check if ignore PC is set to true for the Mono switch. You can find the setting under automation (right click on container). Also under properties of a container there is a similar switch. Set ignore PC to false. (PC means Patch change).
Also you might add a 1 pole hp, as the last module. If the last module is amp the put it before the amp. Then you will not get any DC. You can even set the pitch 0 I think and, it will still remove the DC.
