Yes, see here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9#p6126689
I bought it in decemeber 2014
You'll have to purchase a token (I think they are $15) since it's been fewer than 9 months.
but never had the chance to install and activate it.
u-he doesn't do activation "phoning home". Your license is activated the moment you receive that serial number in your mailbox.
Feel free to call me Brian.

Serials are also tied to user names and user accounts. One can't just give them away.

I'd highly recommend to give Hive a try though. It might surprise you :)

Hey guys,

A silly question but how do I initialize Hive so its just an empty patch?

I can initialize the arp&seq/effects but not the entire synth...

There's a patch called "-- INIT --" in the "00 User" folder.

A dedicated init button is on our own wish list, it may happen in one of the next updates.

Post

what about a random button could that be added?

Ahh. I see it now.
Thx Urs.

Looking forward to the dedicated button.

There's always a bit of discussion about this.

There's a script based preset that can randomize Hive in the PatchLib under "All Devices":

We want to rethink some stuff before we commit to a decision on how we handle this in future. We'll see...

Also, this thread is fairly old... let's move discussion to the official release thread here:
