Damn this is another bug that was hidden by the fixed bug. Sorry about that. Fixing it. New version will be available asap!

PS: These parameter bugs are a recent consequence of the M6.5 works. They were not in the current official M6.4. The updated M6.5.12 test version will be available asap!

:phew: again!
Thanks, Jo! ;)

what would be nice is to have the sequence player as a module for the front panel for the next update thank you

Speaking of odd behavior... I noticed that if loop is turned on the left and right arrow keys do not advance to the end marker or through the set markers. Seems they are stuck on marker 3 and won't go to the end loop with the right arrow key. Which always worked before? FYI.

Thanks for the updated front panel Jo. Not had time to try it out yet. Had a little play about with v6.5.8 but found it difficult to get stuff onto FP so waited til you finished, which it's looking like you're nearly there. Will test soon hopefully and let you know if there's any problems. Having trouble keeping up with the latest here!

The only thing missing is buttons! Perhaps for v7? Here's hoping...

Thanks for all your hard work :tu:

What do you find difficult about it?
The only thing missing is buttons!
How do you mean? Pls elaborate. Thx.

I see. Ok, i'm researching a solution. Will try to push it into that next M6.5.12 update.

As I couldn't just drag n drop stuff, but had to click option to add component but then what? Am I supposed to click on an open mux window component or what? It's not clear how it works. Has drag n drop been added now?

Re: Buttons. Couple years ago I requested buttons for the front panel. I don't know if this is still on your wishlist? But the idea was that you could add stuff like a simple button and an indicator for changing parameter values that don't have incremental adjustment but rather support 'types.' For example: Filter and LFO types. Rather than having a button that opens a window which clutters the interface, just have a button for a specific parameter. Like I say, this may not be feasible though?

There is a new MuLab 6.5.12 test version in http://www.mutools.com/forsythia
Changes since M6.5.11:
  • Fixed a recent bug wrt recording VST parameters.
  • Improved stepping forward the play cursor in a composition with an active loop.
How to upgrade from MuLab 6.5.x:
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.

How to upgrade from earlier versions eg M6.4: Make a full new install from the M6.5.7 package cfr the info on
http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/ ... ation.html
Then apply the new M6.5.8 app patch.

Did you read the docs?
See http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/mu ... anels.html

You can drag-drop parameters (as before) and certain module editors i.e. the ones that are supported to be embedded on a front panel, and only if that editor supports initiating a drag-drop.
For details also see that doc page.

You can use a value display for that. In front panel edit mode, double-click a parameter and have a look at the "Type" list.

This appears to have fixed the navigation with arrow key and the automation recording bug here. Caveat: One thing though I've noticed is that any existing documents don't seem to acquire the "new" proper behavior when applying the fix. So the template that I spent some time setting up is broken when the fix is in place. It works with a newly created document but doesn't seem to apply to existing files? Hmmm...

Also what is the difference between just hitting record and playing on a track... and right-clicking the record button and selecting record events or record audio??? In trying to record automation I dicovered that but I can't seem to make it do anything...

How odd cause the fix does not depend on the project. Feel free to post your template project.

As the right-click popup menu says it's about setting up recording.
If you want to record a parameter, just hit record and turn/slide the parameter.
