You know every time I upgrade to the newest version it breaks the scroll on my latest template... So the new version won't scroll through my markers again on the template I just created. If I create a new template it works? Is that standard behavior... I hate to keep setting up these templates and having them break again. Guess I need to stop loading the latest version every time it's posted.

Has the font-size issue in Sampla been fixed yet?

Post

Things are evolving, changing, getting much better with increasing possibilities. Although this is apparently a very exciting issue, I still think it's best not to create serious templates with a software alpha/beta as things develop that could change the very nature of a template.
Once the release version is ready, it will be important to make sure old projects load up fine, of course. I was often a bit troubled by the incompatible projects across versions, sometimes having to go through various in between versions in order to get them into the latest. It's a little bit of an ugly thing, really. I do understand it, when file routines get larger and larger that at some point it seems insane to keep old formats alive in there somewhere, but then... we're talking about kilobytes worth of compiled code, so that...uhm...but nevermind that.

I'm not going to argue about the use of templates in something as quick and "simple"(on the surface) as mulab. It's probably just my preference to go at a song from scratch, appreciating the openness of a blank canvas. But I most certainly would argue about making templates during a beta round- aka "MuLab 6.5.xx TEST".

Feel free to post such template here so it can be researched. (bis)

Which font size issue?

The audio browser in sample always shows the default font-size. Unlike the other browser that shows the font-size you've selected.

You mean the browser at the right side, right? Indeed that still uses the standard font size. I did not yet work on that in this version but will do so when working on the fonts, cfr this topic: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=440724

Yea, well, the one that's opening when you want to load a audio file in sampla.

It would be very very good if this could be fixed any time soon. Becase for me as visually impaired MUX is an ideal tool due to the possibilities to customize it. Especially since you added the ability to select font-size.

That was/is extra ordinary appreciated. And so it's just in this browser. I've to use a magnification tool to view in that particular browser.

So, I'm really looking forward for this to be fixed. MUX is truly an great tool for people with low vision as me.

Cheers ! :tu:

I can't change that without implications for other users. I know the "Menu Font Size" preference is only partly implemented and i'll work on that when working on a more flexible font system, which most probably will go hand in hand with global UI scaling. It's not something i can do in this M6.5 update anymore. The only short term option i would have to make things more consequent is to remove the "Menu Font Size" preference but i guess that's not what you / other users want either. So best choice at this point is a status quo, i think.

Oh, I see.

I understand it as the mai browser (in where you for example choiose an instrument et cwtera ) and the browser in Sampla where you pick a audio file are not the same browser.

If so - would it be possible to replace the Sampla audio browser with the main browser. I guess both browsers , afte all, do the saem thing (or maybe not playback). And so if you brosed for an audiofile in Sampla with the "main" browser you would have the selected font-size.

Or, well. Maybe it doesn't work this way. Just some wishful though.

What was it? I can't see how you got to those screenshots?

Post

jo i just added a lfo inside mux then drag and drop the lfo on to the front panel and that the way they looked when i brought them over

Post

Strange i can't repeat that. It's not ok how it looks on that screenshot so i want to fix that. What exact steps do i have to take to repeat it?

Post

bring up a rack then add the mux modular then inside add a lfo then edit front panel and drag the lfo wave over to the front panel
