Plugins only working during playback

Can anyone help? I'm now using Tracktion 6.1.4 on a new computer Windows 8 with a Behringer FC610 Audio interface, up from T3 on an older computer. I could hear all the plugins on any track before and during recording on T3, but on T6 I only hear them on playback after recording. I can't seem to find any info on this in the manual, but then I'm not a "Tech Head" so it may be there in front of me!

I think you just need live input monitoring selected in your inputs properties menu.

Make sure the "Run audio engine when stopped" option is enabled from the orange "Options" button.
