Hi,

apparantly Plugin Alliance is giving away a new BX Opto Pedal plugin.
I heard about it on #KVRDeals.
I went through the order and got the license, also in my email but where is the download; Nothing on the PA website about it and I can't find anything more on PA website about it.
Anybody got it?
Thanks in advance.

It seems that Plugin Alliance has f....d up their site/download page.
At the moment no connection at all for a good 15 minutes, from here anyway.
It a sort of pity - a goodwill gesture turns easily to badwill.

I just wasted 30 mins looking for a non-existent download link. Looks like they messed it up ... all I get after going through the registration process is a license activation file, but no plugin

Of course they now have my email and home address details ...

I can (sadly) confirm what was already said.

After a while, the server let me on, I could log into my account (but while picking up the plugin, it didn't use the data I already had stored with my Plugin Alliance Account), I could finally pick up the plugin.

Sadly, there is no "plugin information" page yet - meaning: no download possibility. Also: no plugin information page (leads to a dead end), leaked videos on Vimeo vanished, but at least we can get a glimpse:

And this is how the overall GUI (plus a pedal case) will look like

So this deal is really a bit short-timed and not 100% thought through.

I picked it up either way - still love and use old Brainworx plugins (mainly bx_control). It sure is a difference to the standard VCA pedal compressors I have at my disposal. Can be good for something (guitar wise), might not touch it at all (I have too many compressors already). I'll have to wait and see once the download links are available.

The links seem to be working - I've just downloaded the installation file - 26 mb.
Go to your account then "View & Manage Registered Plugins".

Yep. Just checked it out. Works at the moment.

It's working for me now ...

thanks Ayorinde and Robotmonkey, downloading right now.
I usually want to be a bit extra patient with free offers, I just was not sure I missed something when I could not find a download.
Thanks PA and BX for this plugin.

edit; I'll edit the thread title...

It's good, and hopefully we'll get to see what its big brother looks like later.

Well, NOW the info page is online, and therefore also the download.

It wasn't two hours ago. So they recently got done with the page maintenance.

Brainworx is well know of the quality plugins. Your comments of this "pedal" compressor - what are the main strengths comparing to other compressors?

Looks a bit bare bone, is this all that's to it, no sub menus, or subpages?

What kind of copyprotection does P-A use?

The settings refer more to a tremolo or that kind of effect. Is this really a compressor?

Yep, that's it. It's really very basic like some of their other so called "microplugins".

PA uses it's own C/R style CP that is similar to Waves only much much more annoying and unstable.
