New MuLab 6.5.20 test version in http://www.mutools.com/forsythia
Latest changes:
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.
How to upgrade from earlier versions eg M6.4: Make a full new install from the M6.5.7 package cfr the info on
http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/ ... ation.html
Then apply the new M6.5.8 app patch.
Latest changes:
- Added an extra mode to the "Audio Limiter" module: Now it can work in Hard Mode and Soft Mode.
Previous versions always worked in Hard Mode which ultimately really clips the audio.
In Soft Mode the audio level is limited more in a soft way so that even for high audio levels there still is a difference in output level.
In other words there always is some degree of dynamism preserved. This is more suited for general mixing use. - Added an extra "Rather RAM Based 3" option for the "Multi-Waveform CPU-RAM Usage" preference, resulting in even better sound quality. This new "Rather RAM Based 3" option corresponds in sound quality to the "Rather CPU Based" option, they're both top quality.
- Fixed a sonic bug when changing synth parameters while no notes where playing, then a little quick fade from the previous value to the new value could be heard. Fixed.
- Fixed a couple of other minor issues.

- Added support for drag-dropping module boxes from a MUX modular area to its front panel. (like in M6.4)
- Finetuned positioning of popup edits, eg browser -> rename file, but also several others.
- Fixed a possible crash bug when drag-dropping preset files.

Thanks for the update Jo.
However, I'm still having trouble adding components to front panel. I've tried:
1. R-click/Add Component/Drum Note Processor then the hand/finger cursor appears and I click on the module itself but nothing happens?!
2. I then tried the above but clicked on the modules open window in several places, still nothing.
3. Also attempted drag and drop.
Have I understood right that these pads can be placed on the front panel like any parameter knob?
Cheers
EDIT: btw, the manual didn't help much
I have added the oscillator module in this way but the Note Pad is eluding me
Can't the modules you want to add be dragged to the front panel? Maybe while holding ctrl or something if need be?

working here, are you sure its not hiding behind another panel or "off screen" within the front panel. try enlarging your front panel and see if it appears

Not sure if you know about it, but there's some graphical glitching going on with regard to components not showing fully when overlapping.
