At first I thought this was a way to access the multiple inputs, but that did not seem to work. I tried to make it work internally by having 2, one to send the audio to another channel, and the other to send it back to channels 1 and 2, but that also did not seem to work.
Is this not what I think it is, what am I doing wrong? Could it be a bug?
MXXX Channel Matrix seems to only work as a 2x2 matrix

Sorry for the question, but could you somehow specify your problem. I still do not get it clearly.

If you want to use surround, just set the global channel mode to 7.1 (that's the problem??). If you want to access multiple inputs, use Mixer FX.
