Automation curves and tempo changes

Yes, I have discovered the "Search" button but haven't found an answer to the following (maybe dumb?) question.

It seems that the points of the automation curves remember their time position with respect to minutes and seconds rather than bars and beats. So if I create an automation curve that syncs with the song and later decide that the piece would sound better a few bpm slower I find the automation curve out of sync.

I'm sure this behaviour can be switched somewhere but I just don't find it.

Thanks for any help.

I fear there is no way to switch the behaviour. There are several places in Tracktion where changes in the tempo / rhythm structure of songs (be it a change of all the song or a partial change) will lead to undesired results. Jules is informed about these issues, however, and I deeply hope that his work on v2 is accompanied by a clean conception for this kind of problems. :)

Do you know if Jules is planning to include tempo automation in T2? (or is it already there, and I've just overlooked it... :? )

Tempo automation alredy exists.
It can be found along the top off the edit.

Aha! I see what you mean - "Ramped Tempo"? How come I never spotted/tried out that one - doh! :-o

Thanks for the tip, and hey - this is really cool 8) . Is there anything Tracktion can't do (rhetorical question - please don't answer!!!)

I just experienced this first hand last night. Changing the tempo bumped a couple random clips ahead, while leaving the others in their original place. I know I'm not offereing any new information, just bored enough to post a reply! :P
