Is there a simple explanation as to why dr008 has just started to play back on the left channel only?

(works just fine in FLS/Cubase 5.1)
Am I missing something glaringly obvious here?

is it inside a rack
if so i think this is a bug jules already knows about but i aint sure
i get this quite a lot
i make a rack preset and everytime i load it it only works on one channel
delete the preset resave it and it works i dont know why
but it doesnt happen with all presets its very random

anyway if its not in a rack then i dont know

No racks involved.........It's only recently started happening and I haven't changed any settings, etc. All my other vsti's are ok, it's just droo8

One last bump

dr008 is the 'only' thing I use for drums and if I can't use it, Tracktion is pretty much useless to me. There must be a reason why it has suddenly started to playback in the left channel only

I mainly use FLS/Tracktion and it works just fine in FLS, so this is a Tracktion issue. If I can't persuade it to work in Tracktion, then Tracktion will have to go

Anybody?

sorry i dint get back to you earlier

but im running dr008 now in tracktion with no probs

anychance you could give us some more info

1 what other filters are running if any
2 start playback and then pick up dr008 and move it to another track is it still the same
3 is this everytime you use or just in a particular song youve saved
4 im gonna say this just incase check the pan controls on tracktion and dr008 (sorry im not being patronising just trying to cover all the stops)
5 what sample are you using on dr008 or is it one of the synth modules

oh give me any relevant info tio the finest detail so i can try and replicate and find a fix

Mystery solved

I just totally uninstalled both Tracktion and dr008, ('every' last reference I could find) reinstalled and all's well again. Still strange tho'

Hi Rack Bitz,
It's happened again

I've just installed v1.6.0.1. Loaded dr008/slicy drummer with a simple loop to try the Final Mix fx and lo and behold, left channel only on playback......again

Sorted, but same scenario as last time, I had to uninstall Tracktion and dr008 then reinstall, to get them working

F#ck it, I won't bother with the next Tracktion update if it means I've got to uninstall/reinstall things to get it working. Too much of a ball ache
