Ok...I want to buy mxxx...demo expired.
But cureently it is nly part of mtotal bundle ...and now way I am gone spend 1000 euro for all the effects that are also included in mxxx;
Now , mr Melda :à , you said that mxxx will be mighty expensive after it's release , what about an early adoption price while it's still in beta ?
Take my money please ...

Hehe thank you for your interest! Here's the problem - I don't know what price to set really... It needs to be more expensive than other other effect, because well it makes all of them pretty much obsolete. So to be honest my original idea is to set it to 999 EUR and make MTotalBundle more expensive. Of course, introductory price will happen, I suppose 399-599 EUR should do the trick. Would that make you interested?

What about if it was possible to buy standalone but is NFR if not part of the Total bundle?
I and alot of others just aren't interested in the dynamics/plugins for example.
I have these sort of plugs coming out of my ears.
I think your mistake is putting all your plugins in Mxxx.
Maybe have an Mxxx version of the Creative bundle..............pleeeeeeaaaase

Well, we'll see... there were a few ideas, but I'm afraid at the end the simplest idea - MXXX would be the ferrari between effects seems the best... I want all of the plugins in it actually, that's part of being a ferrari

Please make me a Volkswagen of plugins. (Just for me, to hell with everyone else. I'll even not pay you for it! What a deal!!)

I also think that the idea of MXXX is best like it is at the moment. For example: even if you just want to make some "creative effect chain", you sometimes just need a "non-creative-bundle-effect" in the chain as well (like a compressor for example). At least I find it very useful and even somehow necessary.

Well, these choices will cover just a number of customer situations, and leave some of us out. For instance, I have long past the 399 or even 599 EUR marks in Melda plugins already bought, however I don't have Total (which has been -at very short times- accessible for less than that) or even Creative or Mastering bundles. In my case my take is partially based on mastering, with some sound creation duties, together with EQs and dynamics fit for live usage; in sum no Melda Bundle fits my plugin choices.MeldaProduction wrote:my original idea is to set it to 999 EUR and make MTotalBundle more expensive. Why then I don't get the Total or the near coming discounted MXXX? Easy, I may only expend relatively small monthly amounts and thus neither of those Bundles are at hand.
The way it presents coming, MXXX appears to be out of my reach (yes I knew about July's access window by creating presets, however not before September or later, I'll have time for such venture).
///This is why the modular "lego" MXXX conformation idea was shinning and twinkling front my eyes.. .
This way we customers may build it, acquiring the main building blocks in a sequential way, very much similar to the way we built our Melda Stack... wait even more logical; MXXX as a coordinative complement of what we have already bought, or are going to buy from Melda.
Not being a developer myself, sounds very fine to my ears.

I was wondering if I will then miss the option of placing single effects (in case I get a bundle) on tracks - shouldn't that be more lightweight or CPU efficient than placing many instances of MXXX in a Live set?
I want to wait a little with testing the demo since I don't have the time to delve into it at the moment.

At least here using MXXX with a single effect in it takes very slightly more CPU (according to the FL Studio CPU meter, which seems not represent the real CPU usage somehow) than just using the single instance of this plugin.Soarer wrote:I was wondering if I will then miss the option of placing single effects (in case I get a bundle) on tracks - shouldn't that be more lightweight or CPU efficient than placing many instances of MXXX in a Live set?
... but maybe I am just wrong and there is no real CPU difference in this case?

Yes. My thoughts exactly.Nspace wrote:[This is why the modular "lego" MXXX conformation idea was shinning and twinkling front my eyes.. .

I suggested Vojtech some time ago a strategy similar to IK Multimedia's AmpliTube Custom Shop and T-Racks Custom Shop, where you get the main plugin (MXXX in this case) for free (or for something like $50 or so) and then buy only the modules you really need/want (and/or use the modules you've already bought), when you can afford them. In my opinion this is the perfect strategy, a win-win situation for everybody.

Well, If the -reduced- suggested price MSRP is nearing 399 EURKTlin wrote: Yes. My thoughts exactly.

I'd would calculate at least, 133 EUR for each of three módules (MXa, MXb & MXc, to form MXXX).
And then possibly at each Module's launch, do a Special introductory price, Melda style... It could come to be the point where your idea; KTlin merges with Vojtech's ones above.
...Still, for that to happen MXXX needs to be made modular in its functions and scalable too, which am not sure it is feasible at this point.

When I said modules, I was refering to the individual effects (MAutoDynamicEq, MMultiBandReverb, etc), and not to the Bundles (Mixing, Mastering, Creative).Nspace wrote:Well, If the -reduced- suggested price MSRP is nearing 399 EUR

Well, here's the thing, MXXX currently is (and most likely will stay at least a few years) the most powerful effect at all. So it just cannot be undervaluated by a small price. Technically it shouldn't take more CPU than the separate plugins (in the future it could even be a little faster, exploring the possibilities so far...), but the disadvantage of course is the GUI, which just has a lot of additional controls and conversely doesn't show others - e.g. with MMultiBandDynamics you have meters for gain reduction for each band etc.
Anyway we have 2 options:
a) It will just be the ferrari amongst effects and will be expensive. Such a licence will be possible in any case. That's what the successful preset makers get.
b) In addition there will be the licence model with adding blocks. But there are many problems with that. We'll see about that.
