You can already use pitchbend curves by using automation envelope parts. Right-click track -> Add Automation Sub-Track -> Pitch Bend.

Yeah, I totally hear you. I'd love to have the ability to convert modulation data into curves, which could show in piano roll patterns as well instead of just the raw data. Would be fantastic to be able to toggle or switch. Certainly big time worthy of exploration.

Oh, no, he knows about it already. But with all the wicked stuff he's been doing, I think, he's really having a great overview right now over his code, giving him an extra edge on things that seemed more daunting at other times.
Of course, conversions can seem a bit scary, but there are a number of ways to keep them simple at first, just to get the ball rolling and refine them later on without anyone crying about it.
Anyway, it's a great moment to mention that again. But whether it makes it into this update or the next big round after his well deserved vacation, I know there will be something fantastic coming then.
What we should consider right now is to take the final release of the upcoming version and make MASSIVE NOISE, like really advertise for MuLab and show the fantastic development that is going on. When Jo has managed to rest and enjoy enough and feels like he's ready to see what's going on, he should find a buzzing MuLab forum with lots of new user content and hopefully lots of new users, too!
That will most certainly give great energy to him so that the next round is going to be just as impressive and will blow all our minds!
