New MuLab 6.5.28 release candidate version in http://www.mutools.com/forsythia

Latest changes:

Track resizing: cursor now is a up/down size cursor instead of pointing hand.
Drag-dropping a parameter on an envelope part editor not starting at 1.1.0 was not showing a proper drag point. Fixed.
Finetuned behaviour when drag-dropping a parameter onto an envelope editor while the parameter is being automated.
Multi-sample zone "Gain" parameter display was not showing the right dB value. Fixed.
Delete Unused Racks function now also gives the option to only show them.
More relaxed auto-delete for unused sequences and samples. (less auto-deletes)
In big projects, previewing samples could be a bit slow. Fixed.

How to upgrade from MuLab 6.5.x:
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.

How to upgrade from earlier versions eg M6.4: Make a full new install from the M6.5.7 package cfr the info on

New MuLab 6.5.29 release version in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/app-patch

Latest changes:

VST editors: The term "Last Tweaked Parameter" has been renamed to "Focused Parameter".
When the main project window is in EDIT mode and you switch to an empty automation envelope track, an automation envelope part is created instead of a sequence part.
Fixed an issue wrt using a picture file as MUX front panel background.

How to upgrade from MuLab 6.5.28:
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.

Has there ever been a duplicate sequence? That could be triggered by a command key... seems like that would be really useful as I have to hold down command and drag all the time which is not standard on a Mac. Usually option drag duplicates. But a duplicate command like "d" would be handy.

Drag moves. You need a modifier to take a copy. Whether that copy is a separate thing or a reference to the same thing also needs a modifier. That's standard UI practice on all windowing systems.

Yes. However, Cmd. D or just "d" duplicates a clip/sequence in a number of DAWs including Live and Studio One. I realize there are "unique" copies etc. in MuLab but I just want another one of the same thing – hence the term "duplicate." I don't make loops of the same sequence for 15 bars which is what the looping locators are for in a MuLab sequence. It would be nice to not have to use my mouse to manually select the object on the screen every time I want to make a copy... may be preaching to the choir here. Just checking.

. No, there only seems to be a single "Paste" shortcut rather than two, one for "Paste reference" and one for "Paste unique". (Nor is there a separate "Copy unique" rather than "reference" as far as I could see.)

when i go to change the front panel size, it will not allow me. the numbers are greyed out. how do i change it?

Unfortunately the greyed Height and Width fields for the panel background is an unintended issue that slipped thru the testing phase. Will be corrected asap. You can also resize a front panel by dragging the window borders.
