In the beginning we could not do bundles in RE and we thought 39 bucks was fair for each. Then, when we could do bundles there were already so and so many people who had invested more into our stuff than our regular 149$ offer. So, as always, pricing and everything is a balance act of various factors. In this case we wanted to make it attractive without spoiling the "value" for the people who had already invested. It furthermore helped that REs have extra features (CV inputs), extra expenses for UI stuff, VAT included, higher reseller fees than our own shop and no way to promote other software to the customers directly. REs are nor VSTs, and there's loads of things to be considered.
(that said, as we're opening up to resellers we're also biting the bullet of including painful fees in the net prices)

Thank you for answer. Never thought that way.. Kinda assumed that it's as "easy" as with vstsUrs wrote:In the beginning we could not do bundles in RE and we thought 39 bucks was fair for each. And to be honest, for some reason REs have kinda "lower value" -image in my head compared to vsts.. Though the reality might actually be the opposite
Okay. I'll never complain about your pricings again
