Tried the BX_opto pedal last night on some drums and that little freebie is pure badassery in my opinion. Its kind of painful though as it is now definitely one my favorites or I guess more correctly one the most exciting compressors I have even after investing recently in a highly touted compressor that isn't nearly as exciting. But, I'm very happy regardless as that other compressor did end up playing a key role after the opto comp. Great Job and big thanks to Plugin Alliance!
Who is "I"? What is "I"? This has yet to be explained.

I upgraded to full version, cannot be happier...its great! It looks like whenever each new compressor comes, it sounds better and better. Programmers definitely stepped up in to the right direction last 2-3 years.

Another upgrade here. This comp sounds very round and punchy, love it. Bargain !

I think you do. I had downloaded the plugin about two weeks ago, then I registered and installed it about a week ago, and received the email yesterday. So there's some time before you actually get the email, but I'm almost sure you should register first.Burillo wrote:how does one receive the upgrade voucher? i haven't received it. do i have to register the pedal first?

just tried both... i think i'll pass on this one. if i never had MJUC and Softube TLA-100A, i would've picked this up, but as it stands, it doesn't offer anything that those two can't offer as well.

Honestly I really love what Bx_Opto has to offer, but MJUC is a game changer imo. If Tony released MJUC earlier I wouldn't have upgraded my Bx_Opto pedal license. As simple as that. Just my opinion ! Though some people might disagree with me...Burillo wrote:just tried both... i think i'll pass on this one. if i never had MJUC and Softube TLA-100A, i would've picked this up, but as it stands, it doesn't offer anything that those two can't offer as well.

same here really, only i got to try MJUC before bx_opto
if i demoed bx_opto earlier i would probably have picked it up despite having TLA-100A (and IK opto, which is also great IMO) already, but MJUC was a nail in the coffin for me, and bx_opto felt kinda redundant when i finally got to try it. nice freebie though.
