I'm listening through some of my soundcloud tracks. Ever since I started joining the OSC, I've made a whole bunch of tracks with free vsts, of course. They're great fun and I'm learning a lot about mixing along the way, but as soon as I went through all those tracks and arrive at my pure mulab tracks, it becomes so crystal clear just how beautiful mulab is/sounds. Mind you, those tracks are truly pure mulab, no other vsts involved, and they just have this quality to them in their sound. It's rich, it's clear, it's crisp and really kind of deep. And that was before I even started with any new mixing explorations.

This post is just to praise MuLab and share with you just how impressed, thankful and happy I am about what Jo is creating here. I'm sure it is unusual to many artists out there and they may (mistakenly) feel underwhelmed at first, because MuLab is so open and frontal on its face. They may miss some internal structures they are used to from other DAWs, but if they would just take a brief moment and dive into the tremendous depths of it, they, too, would recognize the beautiful monster in front of them.

I just want to add this: I just love it!

I am a new M-user and I want to share my impressions , It is a week that I'm using the free version of mulab and a couple of days ago I bought mux modular because it was what I wanted for a long time.
for health reasons, I spent about three years without being able to make music, I had to start over and I was disoriented for a long time until last week when I do not know because I happened to read for the case where mulab / mux 6.5 were about to be released, I decided to try and wow I opened a new world , all I ever wanted was there and I did not even know.

one week later..What has changed for me in three steps:

1 :I have a problems with the movements and to keep the concentration , work with the mouse is quite difficult for me but the fantastic workflow of mulab/mux made me completely forget my problems and it allows me to have the precision of a surgeon.

2:I uninstalled some demos of other daw that I was testing and totally forgotten them, I kept only my old daw and mulab free and soon ul

3: other vsti? mux has everything I need , is The Modern Tool for old and new school producer, I'm sick of clones of hardware device I hate the imperfections the problems and the limits of that stuff. WHY clone the limits

MUtools break the rules and go beyond the limits!

I've barely scratched the surface of Mu-Lab, and although I've looked at other DAW's, I simply can't be arsed with putting the effort into figuring them out! Mu-Lab is easy, powerful and Jo is very responsive to his customers and fantastic at keeping it running smoothly! Couldn't ask for much more!

Well perhaps that Roland implementation of WaitNote recording eh?!

I always liked the look of Reason, and, later, BitWig. But the price and complexity as well as being install only, made me ditch those and try MuLab. I also started with MuzysCM and on finding it was made by Jo I finally tried Mu-Lab. Even though I have two licenses for Ableton Lite, free with hardware, I loaded it up once and thought - "nah! stick with MuLab."

Agree somewhat. Mulab could probably offer NO-BRAINER SPECIALS with truly outstanding SAVINGS for a very limited time. Might get a lot more people tempted to buy, rather than TRY. There's so much good stuff out there these days...and sometimes good designers like Mulab need to sacrifice a lot more to get fully noticed. Harrison Mixbus is doing that right now, and their sales are soaring!

It's come a long way... great system for modularity and the included instruments and building blocks are excellent. There are some idiosyncrasies you have to get used to but altogether a very usable DAW and great modular testbed for fun. I wish I had more time to mess around with the modular aspects and the instrument building capabilities... watching that video soon.

Ultimately this thread is about love and appreciation. Huuh, wow...I just realize this this is almost like a failed attempt at a lucid dream, hahaha, when you try to focus and remain awake, but your thoughts just drift off, no matter what, hahaha.... that's almost exactly the kind of wearing off right before you simply fall asleep, haaahaha, wow.

Awesome, somehow.

Anyway, this thread is just a moment of realizing again just how fantastic MuLab really is. No doubt it has brought the world together even now already, haha, but besides that, simply how playfully you can get to outstanding results without the help of any external plugin alone. Add a high quality plugin into the mix and I couldn't tell you what would be in the way of a professional song production?! (...while I'd imagine somebody might, haha, just not me!)

you're more right

mulab is unique It allows you to build a daw based on what you want without putting limits a tool all in one and I love modular environment,synthesis but certainly not everyone thinks like me.
many people like pre-packaged overathed products and victims of the wow factor only it focuses on appearance not on the target to be achieved,the talent can not be bought.
I tested some stuff last released that devastated my pc and not only , absurd price and low quality lately I think also that the 99% of the code,work and the price is for absurd copy protection..
I do not think that everything sucks but I do not see anything special in these products.
I paid 50 euro for my old daw I love her very much but I do not want to upgrade,I started looking around,my goal was to find a tool all in one but not a 200 or 500,1000 euro daw that is not worth even half and I do not want to go around looking useless things because I spent so much money on useless stuff over the years and I was also a victim of the wow factor and after totally abandoned by the developer and horrendous customer support experience,I still fear

I 'm not C.Harris but as I have always done also for Mux put aside 5 Euros a week and about two months can buy MuLab Ul and so I think I can give a little additional support for the development.
Why?
because it was love at first sight and I immediately felt that Jo puts the soul in what he does and that makes the difference and even though I'm new here I read several threads here in the MuTools forum and everything is already confirmed by all of you guys and by Jo.
