Question On Sharing MUX Patches

Am finally getting around to creating my first MUX sound library and have a question on sharing patches.

MUX has the ability to import samples into their oscillators. If I share the patch created from this process, do I also have to include the sample or is it automatically embedded in the patch itself?

In other words, if I send somebody here my patch "This Has A Sample" will they be able to play it or will they get a message "sample missing" or some other problem?

Thanks.

am guessing you will have to add that sample

I would rather somebody didn't guess and that I got an official answer from the developer unless somebody knows for certain. Guessing doesn't help me. And then, if I do have to add the sample, where? Does it have to be the same path as on my machine? What if somebody is using a different OS?

Too many unanswered questions that I'd prefer to have answered by the developer or somebody who absolutely knows for certain.

This page from the docs might help.

I hope its up to date as there was some discussion a couple of months ago about whether to link or embed samples, between Jo and Taron and whether to do one or the other.
Sorry its not specific enough but am sure Jo will be along to advise asap

The answer is on this doc page: http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/pr ... ement.html

In short, the recommended way:
When you want to share a MUX patch to another system then make sure any used samples are in an "Audio" sub-folder to the MUX preset file before saving the preset file so that a relative file reference can be used.

Oscillator waveforms are always embedded though, even when you loaded the waveform from an audio file. But Multi-form oscillator "Sample Grains" are sample objects so any such samples should also be in the "Audio" sub-folder to the MUX preset file before (re)saving the MUX preset.
