Should I get MUX?

Hello,
Total newbie question! :)
I'm intending to buy a user key for MuLab but I note that it works out better, financially, if you buy MUX at the same time, rather than separately.
But, despite reading the blurb and watching the videos, I can't really grasp what MUX is (at this stage of my learning): i.e. what it adds to the MuLab program that the program doesn't do already.
Is MUX a "good thing" that I should grab now and will come in useful eventually, or should I forget it?
Cheers.
P.S. More dumb questions in the future, I guess!

If you plan on using just Mulab as your only daw then you wont need Mux but if you want Mux sounds/features in another daw then get Mux too.

Thank you :)

Think of mux as a VST that's available separately or packaged with mulab.

Essentially it's what you want it to be, a synth or FX, it can be as basic or deep as you want. Imagine a VST that allows you to change the order of it's components and that's mux. A modular environment to create your own synth and FX, to an extent.

MUX is built into Mulab but if you only buy Mulab you can't use MUX in any other host. So you can buy MUX and then it works in any decent vst supporting host.
