Relatively new migrant to Tracktion 6 from Cubase 6.
So far I've used Tracktion to comp simple one mic recordings, for this "show takes" and the "comp groups" works perfectly. However, when comping a multi mic session I am not able to group the different mic tracks into one take. In Cubase this is possible with "group tracks", where I can simply group the track from each mic across all takes and then comp.
Please check out the image attached for how I set up this session.
Is this simply not possible with Tracktion at the moment or is there a way I have not yet figured out?
I have tried "Unpack to new tracks" and then arrange tracks into folders numbered by take and not by mic but this was not a solution since Tracktion cannot use a folder track as a comp group, (might be a good feature to add
This might be a separate issue but does "Ghost Tracks" have anything to do with this, and if not what is this feature for?
I know that I can commit to the sound and bounce the tracks and then comp, rather avoid it at this point.
Otherwise, digging this product and it's modest price
