Why is my Plugins tab missing from the browser in version 6?

It's been absorbed into the new "Search" browser. You can limit the search to just plugins by clicking the magnifying glass icon (or with a keyboard shortcut and the new Javascript macro feature).

I tried that but the list came up empty.

Make sure nothing is highlighted in yellow in the section above the search-bar.

That's what I was thinking but have not tried it yet... thanks... that must have been it.
