it is getting even better,

though I still think the snare sound wrong in the mix.
Too metallic and light, I thionk you should try some EQ on it or another sample, or try drumatic, there you can get some suitable snares.

Everything else is wonderfull.

ps. you could share the cameleon voices/patches (maybe, if they´re tweaked).

I'll try swapping the snare with drumatic one tonight to see if it improves it.

Rsmus7 - As they're tweaked patches that come with Cameleon I'm just checking with Ben (camel-audio) whether or not it's okay to post them on here.

yep, I´ve seen your post in the camel forum.

ps. I used only drumatic2.2 in my contest song for this month (you know where you´ll find it

). Though I added a bit of dominion (on the snare) for the compression and some EQ.

Okay final mix... I'm leaving it as it is now...

Cheers for the snare advice rsmus.. it's now a mixture of both the Drumatic and the Ns7 one... still not 100% right... but it will do!

Okay the midi file and cameleon patches are found in the following zip file...

Though all credit for the Camel sounds have to go the original creators as all I've done is add a few tweaks here and there to make the sounds fit the song. I've named each patch after the track in the midi file it belongs to and the original Camel preset the sound came from.

If anyone wants to have a go at remixing this song they're quite welcome to as well...

listened to the final mix.

love this, catchy, great drums and sounds (thanks for the patches BTW)

a vocal part would complete it nicely.
