Hi folks,
I recently uninstalled older versions of tracktion and it looks like they took some of my vst plugins with them. The mda ones and final mix etc have all gone. Is there somewhere I can go to retrieve them all?
Cheers!

Final Mix was bodged by Mackie. The upshot is that it is not compatible with later versions. Mackie don't have the source code, meaning that the Tracktion crew were unable to make it compatible. There is a new similar plug-in (Called Master Mix) on the Market Place. I believe it is currently on offer at half price ($30 instead of $60).dogbiscuit wrote:Anyone?
You might find the mda plug-ins here: http://mda.smartelectronix.com/
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

The mda page will probably take you to sourceforge.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mda-vst/files/mda-vst/
FWIW, I'd suggest you use the plugin versions you find under the folder
mda-vst-src 100214
(Reason being, sorta 'all of a sudden' there seems to be a 2015 version in it, with only a 64-bit mac build there, but the only changes appear to be trivial project setting stuff; none of the sourcecode has been changed. I dont know if its someone who doesnt entirely know what they were doing buggering around with stuff and sending that back to the repository when they shouldnt really have, or whather there's something else going on, but since its seemingly not by anyone previously involved with the MDA plugins, better safe than sorry, IMO.)

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."
