When loading Synthmaster in Bitwig it's not possible to use it with the Push controller.

As soon as I load SM, or select a track with SM loaded Push freezes, for 30sec -60 sec. The Pads sometimes generate Midi, but don't light up, and the rest of Push is dead/doesn't respond. The same when I switch a preset, it takes about 30 sec 'til the switch is recognized.
No other plugin does this, so I'm starting here.

I did a fresh install of SM (deleted everything from /documents, /VST and /Application support).

Mac OS X 10.10.2
Bitwig 1.1.6

Hey svervs, I don't have push so I can't help you with your problem, but if you want support you should probably email KV331 through their website (http://www.synthmaster.com/contactus.aspx).

I don't think they check the forum too often, but it seems like they respond pretty quickly to support emails.

I responded yes, but this issue is really weird in general, SynthMaster does not generate MIDI ???

Did they solve this issue?

Synthmaster makes my AKAI APC mini unusable in Bitwig (it justs stops working for 30 seconds or so). I am on OSX.

It's still not working even in 2.7.
I've completely abandoned Synthmaster, which is a shame cause it's an awesome synth ... not to mention the 100+ bucks.

It's simply impossible to use it in Bitwig with controllers and that's a shame. Such great products should cooperate!

I reported this also in the Bitwig forum but no response from devs yet what could cause this strange and unique behaviour.

I have to agree. There are several reported problems with this synth, and it seems 2.7 had focus on new features (=> also possible further bugs) and almost nothing about stabilizing and fixing.

I'd also like to use it more and more, but I cannot consider it reliable enough...What a pity...

EDIT: I realized after more experimenting that my problem was in fact Bitwig and/or osx related, and also seems to have affected a few other users. While it does happen much more with push connected, dragging & dropping files from finder into Bitwig will eventually make it hang, whether a controller is connected or not. So it looks like this is an unrelated issue.

As no other other VST causes this problem, it's probably a SM thing ...
