Well, I've totally missed that. Might aswell wait it out then, not like I can do anything else about it. Still, I find it odd that they're not putting them on sale together.jsp1979 wrote:They had their biggest sale on the KLC for Christmas last year. If you can hold out, then that'll likely be the best price of the year.spr1te wrote:Can someone please explain it to me why Korg has yet again neglected the sale of the Legacy vsts? It seems like they love to exclude them from most sales.

Confirmed.Tomgu wrote:If there are any doubts, I can confirm that by registering a (promotional Digital synsations) UVI serial, you get the Grand piano model D serial by email.

Thanks for the tip, now I also got Model DTomgu wrote:If there are any doubts, I can confirm that by registering a (promotional Digital synsations) UVI serial, you get the Grand piano model D serial by email.
The file is 550MB, uncompressed I guess that means the sampled material is somewhere around 1GB in size. For the grand piano connoisseur, this is not the only lib one wants

It's 2,57 GB uncompressed, actually.Numanoid wrote: Thanks for the tip, now I also got Model D

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, you were the one who posted a coupon code almost a year ago in August, allowing me to get the full Grand Piano Collection for $50.
Still grateful, Num

That's some good compression, but still it is not in the 40GB+ EastWest leagueFleer wrote:It's 2,57 GB uncompressed, actually.
No problem sharing the code, glad you got use for it, too bad you couldn't get it for free too.

Don't tell me, I'm using this ProductionVoices Grand Gold. It's 114 GB, compressed to 58Numanoid wrote: That's some good compression, but still it is not in the 40GB+ EastWest league![]()

Maybe my math is bad but isn't a ratio of 5to1 (2,57gb / 550mb) slightly better than this?Fleer wrote:Don't tell me, I'm using this ProductionVoices Grand Gold. It's 114 GB, compressed to 58Numanoid wrote: That's some good compression, but still it is not in the 40GB+ EastWest league![]()

They should sell that compression method, lossless encoding of music like FLAC usually compresses a track like 30-50%Fleer wrote:Yeah, UVI (up to 5x) has a much better ratio than Kontakt (2x).
If 80% could be had, that would be fantastic

As I understand one of the difference between Traktor Kontrol X1 MK1 and MK2 is that in MK1 Traktor 2 is included, while in MK2 it is not but instead users get a $50 e-voucher
I have a bit of problem finding the MRSP price of MK1 but I guess it was more expensive than MK2 as software was included?
