Two issues:
Spectral Dynamics seems to take a little while to start processing correctly. Any material at the beginning of the file will not be processed fully and will be faded in. You can see in the screen shot below what i mean. The top is the original unprocessed, the bottom is processed with a compressor in Spectral Dynamics. The file is two bass drum hits. As you can see, the second one looks as you'd expect, the first fades in over about 0.2 seconds. I have found this problem in multiple hosts, so i believe it to be an issue with Spectral Dynamics rather than the host.
The second bug is related to presets. I have been backing up my presets and transferring them between my two computers by copying the data in C:\Users\*YOUR USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\MeldaProduction. Unfortunately it seems like sub-folders I have created in the preset window in the plugins are not being created properly when copying this data, anything 2 or more folders down just goes into the first folder.
Do you just not recommend backing up data in this way? I have the total bundle so do not want to have to use the 'export' button on EVERY plugin as that would take a long time. By copying the above data, i can do it in one go.

1) The MSpectralDynamics behaviour is actually correct. It's very deep thing, but let's just say that this avoids any potential zipper noise, discontinuities, aliasing etc... It shouldn't matter what it does in the beginning unless you are processing samples in which case I'm afraid you'll have to put some silence to the beginning and remove it afterwards.
2) Presets - that's odd, could you elaborate a little more, or even better send me some of your preset files you say are corrupt? I cannot really imagine a thing that could go wrong there...

1. That is a real shame. I'm sure you have good technical reasons for this, but if there is any way you could fix this it would make my life considerably better. I work in sound design, I batch process hundreds of sounds a week, I don't have time to do the silence/remove trick. This is making spectral dynamics unusable for my work which is a real shame.

I'll check but quite frankly I don't think it will be solvable.
