I actually would love those sounds, but also not at that price. I have quite a few E-MU libraries that I can't use anymore and DSF seems to be the place to go... but again, just not at that price. For me, there's just too many other beautifully versatile libraries in and around that price, or in some cases that money seems better spent towards something else more expensive.Numanoid wrote:Each to his own I guess.murnau wrote:I laughed my ass off reading this "bargain" mate, thought the same lik you: Must be some kind of joke which i simply don't understand.
I've been very happy playing with the Ensoniq ASR expansion for Dimension Pro, some great vintage sounds in there for those liking that 90's feeling
But the prices that DSF sell this stuff for still is way over the top, I got the ASR for $20 at Cakewalk (regularly $100)
$149 for that daily deal I published should really be the regular price these days. If DSF want to continue selling stuff at SampleLogic prices, they need to remaster their samples and give it an up to date interface.

I've reported this one as spam as I think it's well outside the spirit of the bargains thread. Stick a price on something and advertise it, fair enough but "create an account, we give you good price, love you long time" - er, no.

Hey Gamma-UT, why do you think it's a spam ?
I read carefully the forum rules and it adheres to them.
Other webstores also require an account for price. It's the brand's policy.
Tell me where am I wrong.
Koby.

Just for the avoidance of doubt, I deleted it.
I will re-read the rules and then consider re-posting.

And till then, I collected some quotes from similar-policy-webstores on the same thread.
(I truly believe that you're not affiliated with any of them).
And please don’t change my name. that’s not appropriate.

i think you got my post wrong. As you already said by yourself the regular price should be $149. It's just not a bargain with that price.Numanoid wrote:Each to his own I guess.murnau wrote:I laughed my ass off reading this "bargain" mate, thought the same lik you: Must be some kind of joke which i simply don't understand.

Worth every penny in my eyes! This kontakt lib is a gem. The videos didn't promise to much. You get exactly the same results without hassle. Plug&Play..Fleer wrote:Murnau, your ideas on Solid State Symphony? Upgrade is only $10 it seems.

I'll admit that I don't get the issue here. If you want to know the actual prices at AudioDeluxe (for example), you have to create an account, log-in, and then put the item in your cart.Gamma-UT wrote:I've reported this one as spam as I think it's well outside the spirit of the bargains thread. JRR Shop's blowout page is the same way. Plugindiscounts is also the same. Uncle E advertises in the bargain thread often and no prices are mentioned.
How is this new one any different?

So I shouldn't have posted info about it you mean?murnau wrote:i think you got my post wrong. As you already said by yourself the regular price should be $149. It's just not a bargain with that price.
I think hardly this is the only product that is overpriced out there.

Hans25 posts about a lot of discounts from a lot of different people, and he's included a price in your example. That's well within the spirit of the thread and I don't think VMR is currently in a widespread sale. I could be wrong.everyPlugin.com wrote:And till then, I collected some quotes from similar-policy-webstores on the same thread.

The others I don't think should be in that thread either but they are at least specific about products on sale. You just posted a general statement about going to your site to buy Waves stuff that may or may not be at a discount. That thread is going to be one long, useless spamfest if every vendor decides to do the same.
