If you play with the attack and decay envelope slopes, SM's snappiness changes dramatically. The attack slope is a bit counter-intuitive as you need to push it to the right to get a good, fast-rising attack. You also need to work with the envelope amount in the envelope controls themselves as well as the modulator settings on the righthand side as well as the filter cutoff itself.chk071 wrote: Some synths just don't have it, no matter what you do to them. Dune2 gives you slightly more control over decay length at its shortest extreme, which probably is making it sound "clicky". I've found you can move it to 20 per cent before it moves out of the click range when its controlling the filter's entire range.
