Oh, yeah. You're right. Forgot about that.Numanoid wrote:As long as TAL Sampler can load SF2/SFZ files, it's primed and ready to gojsp1979 wrote:They should make a TAL sampler version. That might help.

As with all libraries like this, I wish the size of the library in just one format were stated explicitly. Some sample library developers will state this information for the sake of transparency. For example Wave Alchemy will say something like "725 MB of 24-bit, royalty free wav sample content (1 GB including REX Loops)" in their product info.Numanoid wrote:24 hour offer (ends 09:00 PST August 18): ELECTRO CINEMATIC - Over 2.5Gb of sounds that contains a vast range of electronic loops, effects and soundscapes for use in cinematic productions and video games
1279 (Acidized Wav files / AIFF Apple loops)
358 patches (Kontakt, EXS24, Halion, NN-XT)
800 Rex loops
Is the library size 2.5GB including all the formats?

The download is almost 5GB, so I expect it contains 2.5 GB Wav and 2.5 GB Aiff filesGribs wrote:Is the library size 2.5GB including all the formats?
Kind of annoying for those on limited bandwidth having to download both Wav/Aiff when only of them probably will be used.

I agree with you and am happy to comply. At the same time, others have requested that I consolidate as many deals as possible into single posts. I'm concerned that these posts will become too long and people will tune them out if I do what you're suggesting.Gamma-UT wrote:The others I don't think should be in that thread either but they are at least specific about products on sale. You just posted a general statement about going to your site to buy Waves stuff that may or may not be at a discount. That thread is going to be one long, useless spamfest if every vendor decides to do the same.
With that said, I can definitely see where I can implement your suggestions without causing too much of a mess. For example, instead of saying "50% off select Sonnox plugins", I could instead have written "50% off Sonnox plugins (everything except GML, upgrades, and educational versions)".
Anyway, I'll give it a shot. Please provide me feedback along the way.

@Uncle E
Eric, thanks for this great deal on some Steinberg products. I bought Groove Agent 4. I've been looking for an accurately working drum sampler for Cubase recently. When Cubase 8 works fine on Win 10, I'll upgrade and use Agent 4 for my upcoming projects.
Thanks again!

Sorry, just saw your reply. I wouldn't sweat it. My original complaint was about 'bargain' announcements needing to be reasonably specific rather than saying "a bunch of stuff is on sale, but you'll need to work out what for yourself". But my point wasn't wildly popular (at all), so I'd go on as you are.Uncle E wrote:I agree with you and am happy to comply. Bargains must be both "generally specific" and "specifically general."

We usually get it to you the same day but there was some licensing issue with your order. We should have it solved by today.DrumAddict wrote:Uncle E

I actually agree with your point and I'm going to start doing it. If you notice it looking too obnoxious, please let me know.Gamma-UT wrote:Sorry, just saw your reply. I wouldn't sweat it. Looks like I lost out on the best deal on Epica after all.
Now I could get Epica + Phaedra + another lib, with code 3x99, I could have it all for $100

This looks mighty fine, Num.
Guess this works on the Flutes library too.
And I'd still have a $20 off introductory coupon for subscribing to the newsletter.
