Yes about the one that in FL Studio it shows that 1 instance takes 1 gigabyte of ram.

Support can give you a status on your specific issue if you reply to any ticket(s) about the issue. That and the CPU questions above don't sound like normal behavior (unless of course you've got lots of sounds loaded into RAM which will, unsurprisingly, take some RAM... or in cases of CPU usage, there are some FX that are more resource-intensive like Acoustic Resonance or the convolution 'verb, which are going to be more intensive than other FX) so I'm sure they can continue to be of assistance and provide any relevant updates for your issues.

Yes "OmniSynth 2" is a "legacy" Expansion Pack. Sonic Reality is OK here:

ST3 CS will not load it - think of this plug-in as the CS version of ST3 Free. You'll need ST3 SE or ST3 Full, both of which also run Custom Shop.

ST3 CS will load these add-on sounds:

Hi Peter,

I have ST3 as well as ST3 Free on my laptop. If I download the new ST Custom Shop at 0.5 GB, will this add yet another ST3 version on top of the other ones?

As I understand it ST3 CS is intended to replace ST3 Free (but it may well be a different plug-in file).

But, you have ST3 (Full) and v3.6 already includes CS. So you do not need ST3 CS itself.

In fact, I'm not sure why / how you have both Full and Free on your system at all, I did not think that both could be simultaneously authorized on one system.

SampleTank 3 CS should replace your SampleTank 3 Free. You will also see a note about making sure you run the sounds updater if you are going from Free to Custom Shop.

Interesting, I believe that is supposed to be dynamic so if you are logged in and should have the option to upgrade, please let support know at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/ as they can take a look at your account directly and see what's up.

I have a ticket with support. My IK account has ST2 Xl and Philharmonik in it, both of which qualify for the upgrade. Just waiting for the option to show up in custom shop so I can buy.

Ps: I can confirm that an empty instance of ST3 uses nearly one gig of RAM in FL Studio 12.0.1 64 bit, according the RAM meter in FL Studio.

Update: The ST3 upgrade is not available in the Custom Shop. It has to be purchased from the IK web site, which unfortunately only accepts cash as payment. I need to be able to use my gear credits. I have respectfully asked that 50 free gear credits be placed in my account so that I can purchase the 250 credit cross grade to ST3 rather than the 200 credit update to ST3 since the cross grade is available for purchase in the custom shop. We'll see what happens.. I hope there is a resolution soon. I have the credits. I just want to buy this thing (without having to overpay) and start messing around with it already

The issue where you were not seeing the upgrade for which you were eligible in Custom Shop should be fixed now (you should also be receiving a reply to your ticket shortly, if you have not already). Thank you.
