I understand completely what your talking about and have read/followed from the first post. Its JMG8 not 9.

What I am suggesting is:

Rather than create a new plugin, it would be simpler to just add the additional modulator tabs to MTremolo.
If you then set the default plugin state with the envelope tab selected, it will open with the graphical representation your suggesting.

OR

If a new plugin IS to be made, that additional functionality is added rather than just the envelope modulator. Enabling users to use it for sidechain ducking too. As MTremolo suggests in the name that that is what it is to be used for. Whereas a name like MVolumeShaper would attract the LFO tool people. Plus for the record both LFO tool and VolumeShaper can be set to envelope mode not just lfo.

Fair enough :) I agree that there are applications beyond what I specifically want, so perhaps you're right that this could be expanded beyond just enveloping and encompass various volume modification applications. Either way, you know whatever Melda think up will kick ass.

can you maybe consider some fft spectral fx? i've found nothing that can rival reafir for creating ghostly fx out of vocals etc. some noise reduction plugins do it, but they're too pricey.
the spectral fx i can get out of reafir and some nr plugins are like nothing else i've heard, so i think you need to have one of those in our toolbox.
in fact im quite amazed that after all these years, noone can come up with something to rival things like reafir and glace verb. are they too hard to code or what?

MVolumeShaper: Ok folks, how about you create a poll in Effects section if people are interested, and let's see how it goes ;).

Spectral: Actually one of the many things on the table is MXXXSpectral ;).

ok, but its gonna be a seperate fx in creative bundle yeah?
i dont wanna be messing about with that xxx thing

HA ha, what's wrong with MXXX?
Vojtech said he is working on a way to make the CPU footprint of an FX open inside of MXXX even smaller than that of the plugin itself. Plus there is modular routing and more modulators and multiparameters too.

gonna sound really silly, but i find the name just a bit childish ( no offence meant!) thats why i aint bought it.
just cant imagine comfortably working with that name when im focusing on my music

i feel the same with fl studio and their silly cursor that looks like a finger, and that other one that looks like some silly celtic design, when im just trying to drag and drop a block. dunno, maybe i get too easily irritated

If I may ask off-topic: is MXXXSpectral a MXXX-like plugin, but with own "spectral" modules? So modules, which are not present as standalone melda-plugins?
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

_al_: Really ? :D Well, you will miss a lot ;).

MXXXSpectral - yes ;). But the thing is all modules need to be specifically designed for the spectral domain, it's quite a different approach.

Nice. That sounds a little like spectrumworx, definitely worth checking out if you're investigating this: https://www.littleendian.com/consumers/overview/

That said, as with most spectral plugs, while it has potential, it can tend to sound 'waxy'; overly smooth with the FFT window set to high, or conversely, nasty and distorted with it set to low.

Oh, also check out DtBlkFx too, it too has a sort of module approach:

Very interesting, and while super old, there is nothing else quite like it.

Good luck with it, I'm a huge fan of FFT plugins!

I checked spectrumworx some time ago, there was definitely stuff to "get inspired" but overall I just didn't like it. I'll check the other.

The thing with FFT is that the FFT itself is simple, but to use it properly, that's another story...

I don't understand fully.....
We have MSpectralDynamics now inside of normal MXXX why would we need a new MXXXspectral? Could we not just continue using spectral FX inside MXXX as modules? This way you could keep the "ONE plugin does ALL"

I'd really like to see this too, but not the standard adsr knobs, replace them completely with a curve-able mseg! I'd love to have a quality mseg volume envelope that I could insert on synths whose envelopes don't do the trick.

Wow, if MXXXSpectral brings tools similar to Michael Norris' Soundmagic Spectral (http://michaelnorris.info/software/soundmagic-spectral) which is only Mac, a dream would come true.

And personally I love Spectrumworx, so something similar from Melda would be amazing.

Maybe you could also check Obelisk (http://www.artificialaudio.com/productmenu/2) to get inspired.
