i know, i've run a few training courses all over europe and pretty much whever you go the training is on english software, in english.

it embarrases you a bit when the trainees are quite ok with this yet you got lost in their airport that morning cos you couldn't read exit

at various times in my life i have done french and spanish (at school) and i can speak conversational swahili (i lived in kenya for 2 years) but i can not write it at all and apart from the swahili can't speak it either.

but then it's as much my fault as anyones cos i've never bothered learning properly and working at it.

you all should add more basic words like bratwurst, kartoffelpuffer or verschwörungstheorie to your vocabulary

Not that I have anything against english 15 yr olds.....well apart from all the baseball caps! :p

Standards have dropped, old chap, thing's just aren't what they used to be in our day. The young people of today just don't have any respect. Now when I was their age, if I had spoken out of turn I would have earned myself a damned good thrashing, etc...
