Just try to avoid the case where the Audio Envelope Follower's attack and release times are zero while RMS window is off, cause that means that each sample will create a new event and envelope point which is not ok. So or leave the RMS window on, or set attack or release to at least 25ms.
OK perfect thanks :tu:

I'm having problems with mux vst in the new FL 12.1. I have latest mux version. when I open a basic synth it works and I can play it but as soon as I open the osc window or any window, the whole DAW freezes and crashes. Anyone else? this only happens in FL, not in sonar platinum

its not mux its just fl its not a good daw try mulab :hihi: :tu:

Just tried MUX Modular 6.5.33 32 bit in FLS 12.0.1 and all works fine here. Anyone else encountering probs when using MUX Vst in FLS 12.x?

Well, it turns out this was one of those weird cases of managing to crash a program 5 times in a row, and the next day, lo and behold, it works fine. Odd.

You see runaudio, that's how great FL it, always fixing itself on its own :P
I will say that I find MUX more versatile than FL Patcher for some things (on top of being a genuinely great synth)
but mulab vs fl? let's not get there quite yet :)

Hi, i have a question - how can i detune two oscillatos with one knob in mux modular?
I want detune 1st fom 0 to -50 and second from 0 to 50 just with one knob. And if knob value = 0, then both osc's have no detune at all (both 0 also). I want to emulate JP 8000 supersaw with 7 osc's, and some detune coefficients. I know oscillators have "Fatness" param, but it is not exactly that i want.

And one more question - how can i retrigger osc's in MUX modular, and set to fixed phase?

This is one way...

Also have a look at the video below, from sec 47 on, it shows how you can map different parameters to a single meta-parameter. It doesn't matter that the video is about VST plugins as it works for any module parameter. In fact for MUX own parameters it's even easier to map them to a meta-parameter of the same MUX or a parent MUX: Simply drag-drop the parameter name onto the meta-parameter.

Oscillators are triggered by note events. You can set the start phase in the "Layers" dialog. Start phase can be random for each new note or can be set to a fixed phase from 0 to 359 degrees.

Yes, thank you. At first I made the same thing, but i made an error in mapping with min-max values, and all my knobs tuned in one way instead of opposite...)

I have one more question - is the 32 is hard limit to meta param's? Can i have more? I need to link two mono synths to make stereo. I tried to link two Asynth's but some params - 3 of it leaves unmapped due to lack of meta-paem slots.
I want to tweak knobs on ASynth inteface, and trhough metaparameter map second synth knobs is linked to fist. But linking all 32 parameters is very time consuming. It is cool to have a feature with "automapping", to link numerous similar synths together. To link all the controls of the synths (more than 32) to make patches and tweak all the copies from native interface of one synth.

Yes

If you are controlling the same parameters in different instances of the same synth then you can put them all into one Mux then map those same synth parameters to a Metaparameter

Yes i know, but if parameters in the synth more than 32 we have a problem.

The main goal i want to achieve with MUX Modular is to make any mono vsti synth to stereo. And tweak synth and make new patches fom native interface, because making new sounds in mono and stereo mode - this is big difference. There is many great synths with only mono sound output.
It will be great if MUX have an option to link all the contols of the several copies of the synth togedher automatically and without limit of 32 of them.

Ah I see, then I dont know, sorry
