Hah I knew I shouldn't have posted that line too. I should start following my hunches more.

So you're saying that if it wasn't for me you'd be out having a grand old time with real life friends, but because of the time you've spent on KVR you'll be drawn in a downward spiral and everyone will abandon you because of your obsession with the internet?

No I wan't saying something like that. Your ex nihilo deductions are impressive though.

I was saying that you are great in your own special way. It was a kind of compliment.

Peace 8)

I don't understand why you would bother with such a pile of contradictive rubbish in the first place. This is way below your level and league. You are King Kong while he is Donald Duck.
Well, we've come a long way since we first developed Diva. We're now teaching the modeling technique(s) to interns, we've done more sophisticated models of the Sallen-Key filters present in the discussed MS-20 and we've generally gathered a ton more knowledge, algorithms and experience in this area. It's a logical step to re-evaluate the models we currently have and apply new knowledge, especially when we know where we got things wrong (most notably the Rev. 1 Sallen-Key Highpass filter).

Who knows, we might even bring Diva's CPU hunger down a bit further.

This is what distinguish men from spoiled children. Men listen to criticism, and are always conscious of their limitations, and always seek for paths to improve what they already achieved. :tu:

Now, that being said, please take care of Zebra 3.0 before anything else. I think it should be your no. 1 priority.

The problem here is you're seeing my statements as personal attacks when they aren't.

A personal attack is used to distract from the argument by attacking at the foundation of the argument, the person making the argument. (In fact a logical fallacy itself that the argument would be invalid if the person making the argument can be shown to be such.)

"Naming it "vs. analog" is moronic. It just makes you look stupid."

Here I'm pointing out the fact that the name of the thread is stupid, and by naming the thread this way and refusing to change it, it makes you look stupid. I have never said anyone "is" stupid, I have never made a personal attack. My attack is against the title of the thread. In fact my argument in this quote is that since the OP is not stupid (implied) and I expect has no desire to look stupid, a stupid title for the thread would not be in the best interest of the OP.

So what you seem to insist I've said here is in fact the opposite of what I have indeed said.

"I'm telling you, you look stupid."

I'm just repeating myself here. "Look stupid" is different from "are stupid". A personal attack requires that the OP argue "the thread title is not stupid" or similar. If I were then to reply "what really matters is that you are stupid" that would be a personal attack.

If I were to reply: "yes it is, ..." and reiterate the content of my posts about what such a test can demonstrate while questioning the aim of the OP (what was intended?) this is not a personal attack.

"Stop pretending you know what you're doing or know what you're dealing with. You clearly don't."

This is aimed at anyone who makes a foolish assumption based upon a "test" like in this thread. For you to draw a conclusion you need to first have evidence and understand the source of that evidence.

You can see many people have made the mistake of drawing a conclusion which is not valid from the result of this A/B test. I would urge those people to reconsider whether they actually understand what the A/B test results demonstrate before falling victim to a logical fallacy and making an ignorant decision.

That reminds me of a very 'hard' and 'dangerous' competitor to the 'soft' and friendly Diva, more than OB-8 :clown:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

The problem here is your inability to put yourself in the mind of others and understand how your words are likely to be perceived.

It has pretty much become that. We just need to fix one more bug in current Hive beta, before we can hopefully do our large maintenance update. From then on it's all Z3 for me. I'm very excited to finally work on some concepts to share with you 8)
