Hi guys,
I'm having a little frustration getting keyFollow-to-filter working as i want.
Say, for example i want to have the filter fully closed when i hit C2, but filter fully open when i hit C3?
What is the best way to achieve that? I guess it involves a modmapper, but i can't quite get my head around how to do / route it. Whatever i try seems to depend on the adjustment of 3 or 4 mod knob settings.
Is it possible to have a setup so that the ONLY thing that affects the filter cut-off / key position relationship is what i draw in in the modmapper window? By this i mean, if the modmapper graph has yellow all the way to the top (all 127 all the way), then the filter is fully open across the entire keyboard with no keyfollow (affecting the filter), and if the modmapper graph is fully grey / blue (0 all the way), then filter is fully closed across the entire keyboard. Once i achieve this setting i would be able to draw in (in the modmapper graph) the exact key position / filter relationship that i want.
Thanks! ........... Mr D.

All you really need is a modmapper, yes, set to Key mode. If by C2 you mean C one octave below middle C, then modmapper column 48 should be your starting point, and modmapper column 60 should be your ending point. All other points should be set to 0, and you need to generate a linear slope from columns 48 to 60. Have filter cutoff set to 0, and modulation amount by this modmapper to 100%. Should work.

Thanks a lot, i was over-thinking it and was using a modMap via the mod matrix, but have followed your advice and now it's doing what i want!
