So far I am loving it.
finally fixing cubase mac gui issues at non-100% size, is what I wanted the most and it is fixed. so too is unempty dark horse..
thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dunno if it's any help but moving right to left draws vertical lines whereas in the opposite direction it erases them.
But don't remove the faulty lines in your code !
It may be useful for the next update, you know, the one where drawing tools will replace contextual menus for the mapping generator in Ace/Bazille

I have to say this........
I have gone thru most of the updates on mac and pc... not in depth, but at least browsing etc.
That you guys have done all this work to the GUI, cleaning it up, making it look so sharp......AND to charge nothing for this update.
Huge Kudos again.
You really do spoil us, and I am sure other developers may secretly hate you guys...lol.
as an exceedingly satisfied customer, who buys even u-he products I may not use (often), but buy because I want to support u-he, I say thank you.

Glad you like it! We do too, we've been working at our limits to assemble this package. Some of it you haven't seen yet. There's more, but it wasn't quite enough time to get it right yet. Apart from a long overdue promise, there'll be separate beta phase for TyrellN6 after the release. It wasn't ripe for this round yet. I've removed the link for now, but I also think there's plenty of things to check out.

Very Minor but I am OCD
Maybe the server that 'spits' out the builds has the wrong date? or is this just my computer that is off?
rsp Edit: Dates seem fine on the PC.

Awesome work u-he!
This is why MusicRader said Hive was future-proof (which is the best 'feature-request' of all)! there many not be any new features, but knowing that a developer is constantly working to improve all their products is the best thing you can ask for <3.

Tried a couple of different sizes with ACE 64-bit vst 2 in 64-bit Reaper 5.01 and moving cables around caused no such glitches here, seems fine on my system so far.RedChameau wrote:So, new ACE vst2 x64, in Reaper 5.01 :
Whenever moving a cable in any other size than 100% causes the UI to display black "scanlinish" glitches.

Great update! thanks urs!
Projects in wich i use Satin now gets distorted in FL Studio 12.1.13 , unless:
I turn on "fixed size buffer" option or turn off base latency and turn on again (but after reloading its again distorted).
Urs, i noticed that if i dont use "use fixed size buffer" on most of your plugins in FL Studio i get different sound (i remember i told you this already that happens with Hive), is this is something that is possible to fix in future? My biggest problem is that in FL Studio the latency of plugins with this option on is not being compensated when rendering and if i turn off this option to have a proper render the sound is different then.
Another thing i noticed with Diva, seems that now it takes a little bit longer to load the plugin.

Hey good to see the Bazille multiplex inputs are automatable now! Sadly you guys forgot the digital osc selectors in Diva though.

Here's what base Latency is about:themachinelt wrote:Great update! thanks urs!

"If your host automatically sets the buffer size to a multiple of 16 samples, you can safely disable Hive’s own base latency setting here. If in doubt, leave at ‘16 samples’."
If you turn "use fixed buffer size" off in FL, there's going to be irregular buffer sizes such as 1 or 37. Those are not a multiple of 16, and thus you shouldn't switch Base Latency off. If you do you'll get crackles and distortion. I guess we should add that info to the user guide
I'd always recommend to keep a fixed buffer size for our stuff, but it still depends on the host if that fixed buffer size is a multiple of 16. Ableton Live for instance gives us an irregular buffer on a loop end no matter what, thus the option shoudln't be used in Live. It's a pity. Other hosts such as Logic keep going normally on a loop, there's no issue at all.
The sound differences are related to very fast modulations e.g. through the modmatrix. The update rate of the modmatrix depends on the overall size of the buffer as well, at least to some degree. A series of very short buffers will lead to a slightly higher resolution in modulations, which makes an audible difference on modulations that are nearly audio rate. It however also means more CPU. As a reference, we developed ACE and Bazille specifically to tackle audio rate modulation. Hive is flexible enough to get into that territory, but for it's CPU usage one shouldn't expect the same results as with ACE or Bazille.
Are you saying that Fruity Loops has no plug-in delay compensation with fixed buffer size?

Yeah tried on my laptop and it was flawless. I just updated my Nvidia drivers on the desktop PC, maybe it has something to do with it. It only happens with U-he plugins though (so far). Don't know.
