Hi there,

a feature request regarding loudness analysis. When I render a piece, MLoudnessAnalyzer analyzes everything fine during rendering (I can see it updating values), but once finished it clears all values automatically :-( Could you add a switch for an offline mode, that calculates statistics during rendering and keeps the last values?

Cheers, Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,

hmmm, the thing is, host does that - what you'd want is to actually turn off the initialization. I'll see about that, but it would need to be only for this plugin.

I may have misunderstood, but ....

Use the Pause button in LoudnessAnalyzer? Or do you want some other stats?

I think what he means is that after the processing the host restarts it again. He wants stats, so he renders the audio, but the host reinitializes the plugin afterwards.

I tried this plugin http://www.tb-software.com/TBProAudio/dpmeter.html

It has a switch "Sync" which decides whether values are initialized before and kept after rendering or not. In Cubase it works. All other plugins I have (SPAN, MLoudnessAnalyzer) reset automatically but don't offer a switch. I couldn't find a setting in Cubase to prevent resetting either. So the plugin itself seems to have control about this (it can recognize whether it is in offline mode).
